I designed and created a headpiece which took inspiration from nature, leaves inparticular. I was fascinated by the texture and colours found within leaves and chose to interpret this by using handstiching and wrapping. I was also keen to include real pieces of nature and chose to use twigs as this would make a great focal point for the headpiece, especially when wrapped with material.

 

I then photographed the headpiece on a model and created a 'Vogue' front cover as my course required me to apply it to a journalistic nature.
